and energy in devising a fundraising action plan during the University of
Idaho’s Centennial celebration. With her help and leadership the college raised
significant funds for student scholarships, faculty research, and outdoor
classrooms. She obtained pledges, donations and gifts-in-kind from
corporations, foundations, individuals and federal and state agencies. I have
known, and worked with Ms. Mazzola since January of 1988. She is highly
